Why we’re starting a consultancy firm
Over the past fifteen years, we’ve both worked as consultants, and on the client side of digital and IT transformation – leading programs, managing suppliers, and hiring consultants to help us deliver change. We’ve seen what great consulting looks like – and also what happens when advice doesn’t translate into results.
That experience shaped our conviction: true impact happens when analysis and execution come together.
That’s why we’re building Delta Squared – a boutique consultancy that helps clients not only design meaningful digital and IT strategies, but also make them happen.
The Gap Between Knowing and Doing
In many organizations, the biggest challenge isn’t understanding what needs to change – it’s making change stick. PowerPoint slides are polished, roadmaps are defined, but progress stalls once the real work begins.
We’ve both been in those rooms. We know the frustration of having solid insight but missing the horsepower, experience, or focus to turn it into reality.
That’s the gap Delta Squared was created to close.
We believe that analysis without implementation is wasted potential, and implementation without analysis is blind effort. Sustainable transformation requires both, and the ability to move between them and adjust.
Impact over optics
In our previous roles – whether as CTO, program lead or transformation delivery manager – we’ve seen how easy it is to lose sight of the real goal: value creation.
Too often, consulting becomes about optics: steering decks, metrics dashboards, or the next milestone. But when you ask clients what truly matters, the answer is simpler – better performance, faster execution, tangible outcomes.
That’s where we focus. We don’t aim to be the largest consultancy, or have the most billable hours; we aim to be the most effective partner our clients can have. Every project should create visible, measurable value – whether that’s enabling a product launch, modernizing IT, or simplifying complex governance.
Our name, Delta Squared, reflects that philosophy: the power of meaningful change, multiplied.
